The boys (and girls) are back to play fantastic traditional Irish music from 8.30pm. An essential staple of the Ship's weekly diary, great atmosphere and great times are guaranteed.

Wednesday night means Quiz Night here at the Ship. and master of ceremonies James Punnett will be here from 8pm to guide you through an evening of brain-busting games and questions. £1 entry per person; teams of 8 maximum.

This Thursday it's The Hares who will have the pleasure of singing you their favourite songs. Come down for 8.30pm to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and some top-class entertainment.

Tuesdays can mean only one thing - the Irish band playing in the Public Bar from 8.30pm. Need we say any more?

Fancy yourself as a bit of a smartypants? Put it to the test at our legendary quiz night. 8pm for 8.30pm start; £1 per person; teams of 8 maximum.

This week Sam Paine will be the guest artist at our great Thursday night live music set. 8.30pm in the Main Bar.

Not only is this a standard Ship bank holiday Sunday, but we've got the added attraction of an enormous flotilla of boats sailing past us as part of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. As you can imagine, it's going to be busy, so we won't be taking any reservations; we'll be having live music from The Hares after the event, and let's hope for great weather on Her Madge's special day.

The Irish band will be playing in the Public Bar from 8.30pm. If you've got an instrument and can play, feel free to join in; or just soak up the atmosphere.

The Ship hosts its great Quiz Night, presided over by James Punnett, every Wednesday at 8pm. Bring along £1 for entry and have your wits about you. Teams of 8 people maximum and prizes to be won.
